Safety Education Event

Part of National Fentanyl Awareness Day, the Greenville City Fire Department (GCFD) will host a community Narcan training from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, April 29 at Unity Park, giving residents an opportunity to learn how to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose. GCFD staff will be stationed outside of the Prisma Health Welcome Center to provide instructions on the use of Narcan (naloxone), answer questions and share resources.

Attendees will leave with a Narcan dose and the knowledge needed to potentially save a life.
