Fountain Inn Heats Up with Diverse Summer Camp Lineup for Local Youth
April 27, 2026The Fountain Inn Chamber of Commerce has officially pulled back the curtain on its 2026 summer programming, unveiling a high-energy roster of camps designed to keep local students active, creative, and engaged during the upcoming break.
From the wrestling mat to the kitchen counter, this year’s “Kids Summer Camp” initiative highlights the diverse talents of the Golden Strip community, offering everything from intensive sports training to hands-on culinary arts and STEM exploration.
Building Strength and Skills
For families looking to channel their children’s energy into physical fitness, CrossFit Fountain Inn is offering a comprehensive camp for ages 5 to 13. The program focuses on body awareness and athletic technique, culminating in a day five celebration featuring a competitive showcase, a water balloon fight, and a pizza party.
On the diamond and the mats, the Future Fury programs are set to dominate the early June calendar:
-
Wrestling Camp: Scheduled for June 1–3, with sessions tailored for both elementary and middle/high school athletes.
-
Softball Camp: Running June 1–4, providing specialized instruction for players ranging from age 4 through 9th grade.
Creativity and Innovation
Beyond the athletic field, the lineup offers opportunities for those looking to build specific technical and creative skills. Cakes to Dye For will host a three-day baking intensive for children ages 5 and up. Participants will progress from crafting cake pops from scratch to frosting their own 6-inch masterpieces by the final day.
For the young innovators, the Fury Hot Rod STEM Camp will take place in mid-July. Targeting rising 3rd through 8th graders, this camp promises a deep dive into science and engineering principles from 8:30 am to noon, July 13–16.
A Community Effort
The Chamber’s announcement emphasizes a commitment to providing “plenty of options” for local families. By partnering with local businesses and athletic organizations, Fountain Inn continues to cement its reputation as a hub for youth development in the Upstate.
