New Seating Restrictions Announced for CCNB Amphitheatre at Heritage Park

April 27, 2026

Music fans heading to Simpsonville for the 2026 concert season will need to leave their favorite lawn chairs at home. The CCNB Amphitheatre at Heritage Park has officially updated its guest guidelines, implementing a total ban on outside lawn chairs of any kind brought into the venue.

The policy change, aimed at enhancing safety and streamlining the entry process, marks a significant shift for a venue where personal chairs have long been a staple of the general admission lawn experience.

Security and Efficiency at the Gate

Venue officials cited two primary drivers for the new restriction: safety and logistics. By removing bulky, personal chairs from the security screening process, staff can move lines more quickly, reducing wait times for fans during peak entry periods.

Additionally, the ban ensures that aisles and emergency paths within the lawn area remain unobstructed by oversized or non-standard seating equipment.

New Options for Lawn Guests

While personal chairs are out, lawn ticket holders aren’t entirely without options. The venue has introduced a new on-site rental program, allowing guests to rent approved lawn chairs once inside the gates. These chairs must be returned at the end of the night.

For those who prefer their own gear, the venue still permits:

  • Small Blankets or Beach Towels: Must be no larger than 3’x5’.

  • Stadium Cushions: Must be backless and legless to comply with safety standards.

A Growing List of Prohibitions

The chair ban joins several other strictly enforced policies for the 2026 season. Guests are reminded that the Clear Bag Policy remains in effect, requiring any bag larger than a small clutch to be made of clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC.

Furthermore, outside food and beverages are generally prohibited, with the exception of one factory-sealed plastic bottle of water (up to one gallon) or an empty non-glass water bottle.

Planning Your Visit

As the amphitheater prepares for its busy summer lineup, organizers are urging fans to double-check “Day-of-Show” information before traveling to the venue, as policies can occasionally vary by specific artist or tour requirements.
