Konnichiwa restaurant coming to Cardinal Crossing in Forest Acres

Colliers | South Carolina’s Rox Pollard, Danny Bonds and John Gressette represented the landlord, The Beach Company, in the lease of ±5,807 square feet of retail space at Cardinal Crossing to Konnichiwa of Columbia.
Cardinal Crossing is a $60 million mixed-use development on Forest Drive in the heart of Forest Acres. The site consists of 256 apartments, complemented by ±42,000 square feet of commercial shops, including ground-level shops on the side facing Forest Drive. This continues Forest Acres’ tradition of creating vibrant communities in which to work, live and enjoy.
Konnichiwa is a family-owned restaurant group that has been serving Japanese cuisine since 2019. It operates 16 restaurants across North Carolina and South Carolina, and this location is set to open in July as the third in the Midlands region.
Rox Pollard is a Vice President and Director of Retail Services at Colliers specializing in the sale, leasing and development consultation of retail properties across the state. Bonds is a Senior Brokerage Associate specializing in the leasing of neighborhood shopping centers. Gressette is a Senior Brokerage Associate working with tenants, landlords, sellers and purchasers to lease, purchase and sell retail properties of all sizes.
