SCDOT to hold open house public information meeting about US 17 Corridor Improvements Project in Georgetown County

The South Carolina Department of Transportation will hold an open house public information meeting about proposed improvements along US 17 between S-1015 (Crooked Oak Drive) and S-302 (Litchfield Drive) in Georgetown County.

The open house will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at Waccamaw Intermediate School, 320 Wildcat Way, Pawleys Island, SC 29585. There will not be a formal presentation. Attendees will have the opportunity during the meeting to review the proposed project and provide feedback.

Meeting materials will be posted to the project website for review and comment on the day of the public meeting. SCDOT will accept public comments on this project from April 28 to May 29, 2026.
