Associate Maintenance Technician

Responsible for assisting in the maintenance of all sewer pump stations, plant facilities, and equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The following essential duties and responsibilities are required at all Pay Grade levels:

• Inspects plant equipment to ensure proper and normal operation.
• Operates handheld and light equipment including meters, jet trailer, and step pump unit.
• Performs maintenance including cleaning, lubricating, and minor repair on all district vehicles and equipment.
• Performs pump station checks according to District procedures.
• Maintains records.
• Performs routine step unit and grinder maintenance and repair.
• Performs routine jetting and vacuuming of sewer lines, manholes, and pumpstations.
• Cleans lines, stations, step units.
• Processes computer work orders including man hours, inventory, and needed comments.
• Interacts with customers.
• Performs all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
