Preserving the Past: Join the Kaminski House for “Stroll Through Our Stories”
April 28, 2026The Kaminski House Museum is inviting the community to step back in time and celebrate the heritage of the Hammock Coast with a special event, “Stroll Through Our Stories.” Taking place on Wednesday, May 6, as part of the broader Palmetto Giving Day (May 5–6), this free, relaxed drop-in experience offers two distinct ways to connect with Georgetown’s history. Whether you prefer a quiet morning stroll with gourmet coffee and pastries or a sophisticated evening session featuring champagne and specialty cocktails, the event highlights the vital preservation efforts that keep this historic treasure thriving.
This year, the museum is tying Palmetto Giving Day contributions directly to membership. Each donation level not only supports the continued care of the museum but also welcomes donors into a dedicated community of preservationists.
Don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy the scenic lawn of the Kaminski House, explore its rich narratives, and play a part in ensuring these stories endure for generations to come.
