Sports medicine practice opens third Alloy location, bringing individualized personal training and accountability to Simpsonville.

Upstate Spine & Sport, the Greenville-based sports medicine practice founded by Dr. David Jolson and Fran Haas Jolson, has opened its third Alloy Personal Training location at 330 Scuffletown Road, Unit 108, in the Five Forks area of Simpsonville. The new facility welcomed its first members on March 30, offering individualized personal training.

Alloy’s model centers on small-group sessions capped at six participants, following six foundational movement patterns rooted in core and back stabilization, strength training and functional fitness. The approach targets adults 35 and older who seek effective, sustainable training.

Members receive ongoing accountability through regular InBody body composition scans, individualized movement modifications, one-on-one reassessments, and access to certified nutrition coaching, which may include meal planning, grocery guidance, and macro programming.

“Alloy isn’t just a gym,” David Jolson said. “It’s a system designed to help people move better, get stronger and feel better. We’re proud to bring that kind of individualized coaching and accountability to one of the fastest-growing parts of the Upstate.”

Leading the Five Forks location is Sam Grabowski, director of training, who brings extensive Alloy experience to the role after serving as head coach and director at a Houston location for three years.

“Alloy is about meeting people where they are and helping them build results that last,” Grabowski said. “The programming is individualized to each client, but what makes Five Forks special is the coaching team we’ve assembled, the personal touch we bring, and the community we’re building here.”

The Five Forks location operates Monday through Thursday from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon, with sessions on the hour.

Memberships are based on the number of sessions in a four-week period with no long-term contract required.

Founding member pricing is available for a limited time at approximately 30 percent below standard rates and is locked in for the life of the membership.

Upstate Spine & Sport’s Basecamp Alloy location at 1010 Laurens Road in Greenville and its Eastside location at 15 Milestone Plaza rank among the top Alloy franchises in the country.
