May Fest at The Mill Combines Live Music and Charity in Fountain Inn
May 6, 2026The historic Mill at Fountain Inn is set to host a vibrant evening of live music, family-friendly activities, and community giving.
Presented by the Chapman Foundation, Inc., the annual May Fest at The Mill will take place on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at 100 Ellison Street. The event offers free entry to the public and is designed to bring local residents together for an evening of entertainment with a meaningful cause.
Live Entertainment and Activities
This year’s festival features a packed lineup of local talent and family entertainment, including:
-
High-Energy Performances: Live music will be provided by The Vinyl Junkies and Highway 25, two of South Carolina’s premier event bands known for keeping crowds on their feet.
-
Family Fun: The venue will host a variety of local food vendors, family-friendly moves, and activities for all ages.
-
Charity Raffle: Attendees can participate in a special charity raffle featuring prizes donated by local businesses.
Supporting a Vital Cause
While May Fest is a celebration of spring, it also serves as a critical fundraiser. All proceeds raised from the event’s raffle and donations will go directly toward funding the Chapman Foundation’s annual Pynkalycious Breast Cancer Awareness Festival, which is held on the second Saturday of October.
The October initiative serves as a powerful community pillar that honors breast cancer survivors, supports those currently battling the disease, remembers lost loved ones, and raises vital awareness across the Upstate. The fall festival also features a 5K walk, local vendors, and on-site mammography services to make early detection resources more accessible to the community.
