CrossFit864 and Musgrove Market Collaborate for Inaugural “Shop the Lots” Event May 30

A long-standing Clinton tradition is getting new life this spring through a community collaboration. CrossFit864 and Musgrove Market have teamed up to launch Shop the Lots, a multi-location shopping event set for Saturday, May 30, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Pitts Street in Clinton.

The event grew organically out of two separate ideas coming together. CrossFit864 owner Janice Long has been hosting yard sales at her location since 2009, a tradition that became a staple for Clinton shoppers over the years. When Musgrove Market was planning its own Shop the Lot event for the same day, the two business owners saw an opportunity.

“We used to do it twice a year, spring and fall,” Long said. “Teaming up just makes sense and gives shoppers even more reason to come out.”

Susan Tallman, co-owner of Musgrove Market, agreed that the partnership was a natural fit. “Janice was already planning her yard sale and we were planning our own event, so collaborating was just good business sense,” Tallman said. “Everyone loves the thrill of finding a hidden treasure or a great find, and Shop the Lots gives shoppers two locations right here in Clinton to do just that. We think this is the beginning of something really special for our community.”

The event will feature antiques, crafts, food, and drinks across both locations. Musgrove Market is located at 202 Musgrove Street, and CrossFit864 is on Pitts Street in Clinton. Shoppers are encouraged to visit both lots for the full experience.

The event is open to all.
