The Landings of Georgetown to host
May 13, 2026The Landings of Georgetown will host a community “Coffee Talk” event on Tuesday, May 19, to provide information and answer questions regarding assisted living options. The event will take place from 7:00 to 9:00 am at the Ball & Que restaurant, located at 1808 Highmarket Street in Georgetown.
The gathering is designed as a casual, no-pressure introduction for seniors and their families who are curious about assisted living but may not know where to begin the process. Representatives from The Landings of Georgetown will be available to discuss the transition to senior living, including what the lifestyle entails and how to determine the right time to start the conversation.
“We want to chat about what assisted living really means and what families can expect,” said Robyn Foulsham, Sales Manager at The Landings of Georgetown. “It is about providing a space for great company and honest conversation over a cup of coffee.”
Key topics for the morning include:
-
Defining the core services of assisted living.
-
Identifying indicators that it may be the right time for a move.
-
Understanding expectations regarding costs, care, and daily lifestyle.
-
Advice on how to initiate discussions with loved ones.
The event is free and open to the public. Complimentary coffee will be provided for all attendees.
