Charleston County Criminal Justice Coordinating Council seeks community leaders to serve as 2026–2028 community representatives

The Charleston County Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (CJCC) is seeking community leaders to serve as Community Representatives for the 2026–2028 term. The council is now accepting applications for five representative positions and encourages individuals who are passionate about public safety, collaboration, and data-driven solutions to apply.

Openings are available for representatives from the:

  • Local Civil Rights Community
  • Local Business Community
  • Designated Liaison
  • Local Healthcare Community
  • Local Hispanic Community

Community Representatives play an important role in bringing diverse perspectives to the table and helping guide conversations and initiatives that strengthen Charleston County’s criminal justice system and improve public safety outcomes for the community.

Applications must be submitted by June 24, 2026, at 5 p.m.
