‘Roll Inn, Stroll Inn’: Fountain Inn Set for Memorial Day Weekend Celebration with Annual Golf Cart Parade and Taste INN Festival
May 18, 2026Downtown Fountain Inn is gearing up for a packed evening of local flavors and community spirit next weekend. The Fountain Inn Chamber of Commerce has officially announced the details for a double-header celebration on Saturday, May 23, 2026, pairing a unique hometown parade with the highly anticipated return of the city’s premier culinary sampling experience.
The festivities will kick off at 4:00 p.m. with the 3rd Annual Fountain Inn Golf Cart Parade. Presented by Garrett’s Golf Carts, the quirky and colorful procession invites residents to deck out their low-speed vehicles to compete for bragging rights, while families line the streets of the historic downtown district to watch for free.
The momentum will shift immediately following the parade at 5:00 p.m. with the launch of Taste INN, which organizers are calling the “Roll Inn, Stroll Inn” edition.
Proudly sponsored by Prisma Health, the evening festival is designed to showcase the rapid growth of the city’s culinary landscape. Ticket holders can leisurely walk downtown or ride in on their personal golf carts to visit 20 different participating businesses and restaurants, each offering curated samples of local cuisine.
To turn the evening into a complete “Shop INN” experience, many of Fountain Inn’s local boutiques and retail shops are scheduled to remain open late, allowing event-goers to stroll, browse, and support small businesses between tasting stations.
“We can think of no better time to bring Taste INN back to Fountain Inn,” the Chamber shared in a social media update. “The fun doesn’t stop after the parade—grab your friends and join us for the fun and the food!”
While spectators can watch the golf cart parade at no cost, admission is required to participate in the Taste INN sampling trail. Tickets are currently priced at $40, though children under the age of four can participate for free with an advanced registration.
With a limited number of sampling locations and high demand surrounding the holiday weekend, organizers expect the event to sell out.
