Garvin Design Group welcomes Emma Grace Connelly and Ellie Spicer

Garvin Design Group recently welcomed Clemson University School of Architecture students Emma Grace Connelly and Ellie Spicer to the studio as summer architectural interns.
Emma Grace Connelly earned her Bachelor of Arts in Architecture in 2025 and completed her first year of the Master of Architecture (M. Arch) program this spring. In addition to her academic accomplishments, Emma Grace is also a talented writer and editor. She serves as the Assistant Editor on INTER-Student Journal, an architecture and design magazine associated with the Clemson School of Architecture that features student and faculty work. She will assume the Co-Editor role in the fall of 2026. Emma Grace is also an Assistant Editor at the South Carolina Review, a literary magazine based at Clemson.
Originally from the Columbia area, Ellie Spicer is a rising senior at Clemson and will complete her Bachelor of Arts in Architecture in the spring of 2027. She will spend the fall semester of 2026 studying architecture in Barcelona, Spain. Ellie gained estimating experience through an internship with Hood Construction in the summer of 2025 and joined Garvin Design Group for her first architectural internship.
