To ensure every student arrives safely and ready to learn, the Georgetown County School District (GCSD) is launching a major hiring initiative for dedicated individuals to join the district as school bus drivers.

No Experience? No Problem!
One of the biggest hurdles to becoming a bus driver is the Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) requirement. GCSD is removing that barrier: no CDL is required to get started. To make the transition as seamless as possible, the district is offering free, comprehensive ONLINE bus driver training classes this summer.
