Joanna Hornets Open 2026 Season This Weekend at Presbyterian College

The Joanna Hornets are back, and Opening Weekend is set to bring summer baseball, family fun, and community spirit to Presbyterian College’s Elton Pollock Field.
The Hornets will take the field for back-to-back home games to kick off the season, facing the Greenwood Flying Monkeys on Saturday, May 30, and Klutch Collegiate on Sunday, May 31. Both games are scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. first pitch, under the lights.
The team features a roster of talented college players drawn from Laurens and Newberry counties, giving local fans a chance to cheer on familiar faces while enjoying competitive summer baseball close to home.
Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 12 and under. Concessions will be provided by The Joanna Grill. Fans can purchase tickets in advance at joannahornets.com or at the gate on game day.
Organizers are encouraging fans to bring the whole family for what promises to be an exciting start to the summer season.
