City of Charleston announces 2026 Piccolo Spoleto Festival guide, new website, and citywide distribution
May 26, 2026The City of Charleston Office of Cultural Affairs (OCA) has released the official 2026 Piccolo Spoleto Festival Guide and launched a newly redesigned website, piccolospoleto.com, featuring new tools that allow visitors to search festival events by date, time, and performer.
Digital copies of the festival guide can be found here, while printed copies are available at the following locations across the city:
- Cannon Street Arts Center, 134 Cannon St.
- City Gallery, 34 Prioleau St.
- Dock Street Theatre, 135 Church St.
- Visitor’s Center, 375 Meeting St. (Spoleto Festival USA box office)
- Basic Kitchen, 82 Wentworth St.
- Charleston County Public Library, 68 Calhoun St.
- Muddy Waters Coffee Shop, 1739 Maybank Highway, James Island
- Clean Cutz Barber Shop, 2526 Ashley River Road, West Ashley
This year’s festival features longtime favorites alongside new programming including Kids Karaoke, Piccolo Porch Concerts, expanded family events, and a live concert film featuring Da’ Gullah Rootz beneath the Angel Oak Tree.
The festival also debuts the first Ellen Dressler Moryl Cello Concert at City Gallery and highlights local talent through the Piccolo Finale Concert opening-act competition, won this year by Victoria Purdy.
“We want to give guests the fun they remember and new experiences they’ll never forget,” said OCA Director Rochelle Riley.
OCA also encourages residents and visitors to support Charleston’s Farmers Markets in Marion Square and Ackerman Park during the festival season, including a special Artisan Showcase on May 31 as part of Piccolo Spoleto programming.
The official 2026 Piccolo Spoleto poster is on sale now for $25 and can be purchased at:
- Cannon Street Arts Center
- City Gallery at Waterfront Park
- Charleston Farmers Market in Marion Square
- Alice Colin’s Gallery, 1196 Russell Drive, Mount Pleasant
Posters also will be sold during select festival events, including the Opening Ceremony, Sunset Serenade, and the Piccolo Finale Concert.
