Laurens County officials are Alerting Residents to a Scam Involving Fraudulent Emails

The fraudulent messages are being sent from the email address [email protected], which is not an official county email address.
The emails are not affiliated with, authorized by, or sent on behalf of Laurens County in any way. Those behind the scam may be using county names, logos, email addresses, or official-looking language in an attempt to appear legitimate.
