Clinton Launches Community Clean-Up Month for June
June 2, 2026The City of Clinton is calling on residents to roll up their sleeves and help keep their community clean and beautiful throughout the month of June as part of its annual Community Clean-Up Month initiative.
Running June 1 through June 30, the city-wide effort encourages all residents within city limits to participate by properly disposing of trash and unwanted materials during the designated cleanup period.
While dumpsters will be made available as part of the initiative, city officials are reminding residents that certain items are not permitted for disposal in the containers. Prohibited items include metal, brick, concrete, car batteries, tires, paint, oil and treated wood. Residents are also asked to refrain from disposing of any hazardous waste materials in the containers.
The city is urging everyone to do their part in making the initiative a success.
“Let’s work together to keep our community clean, safe, and beautiful for everyone,” the city stated in announcing the program.
Residents seeking additional information are encouraged to contact the Public Works Department at 864-833-7520 or visit the City of Clinton’s official Facebook page.
