Brookgreen Gardens announces new Board Chair and welcomes new Trustee

June 4, 2026

Brookgreen Gardens has announced leadership updates to its Board of Trustees, naming Scott Brandon as Chair of the Board of Trustees and welcoming Greg Rosen as a new member. Together they bring decades of leadership experience in business, marketing, finance, and event management to support the organization’s mission and future growth.

Scott Brandon will serve as Chair of the Board of Trustees, having served on the board since 2017 and as Vice Chairman since 2020. Brandon succeeds immediate past Chairman Dr. Hal Holmes, who will continue to serve the organization as Chair-Emeritus.

Scott Brandon

Brandon is owner and CEO of The EVOQ Group, a strategic collective of independently owned, best-in-class marketing agencies built to challenge traditional holding company models, including Brandon, the largest independently owned marketing firm in the Carolinas. He currently serves on the board of directors for Southern Financial Corp, the parent company to The Southern Bank and MB National. Brandon is a graduate of Davidson College and the University of South Carolina School of Law and has served numerous community and business boards throughout the region. In 2012, he was named Myrtle Beach Citizen of the Year by the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce.

Greg Rosen joins the Board of Trustees as Founder of Meeting Street Promotions (MSP), a national sports promotions, event planning and promotional products company. Through MSP, Rosen has worked with organizations including the NFL, MLB, NHL and NCAA, and has supported corporate product initiatives for two U.S. Presidents and dozens of NCAA basketball coaches. Prior to founding MSP, Rosen worked for UC Laser, American Airlines and Apple Computer. He earned an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and a BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Rosen also brings a deep family connection to Brookgreen Gardens; his father, Benedict P. “Dick” Rosen, served on the Board of Trustees for nearly 30 years, including a decade as Chair, fostering a lifelong appreciation for and commitment to Brookgreen’s mission.

Greg Rosen

“We are pleased to welcome Greg Rosen to the Board of Trustees and congratulate Scott Brandon as he assumes the role of Board Chair,” said Page Kiniry, President and CEO of Brookgreen Gardens. “Scott’s longstanding service and leadership have already made a meaningful impact on Brookgreen, and Greg brings valuable experience and a deep personal connection to our organization. Together, they will help advance Brookgreen Gardens’ mission and vision for the future.”
