City of Clinton Seeks Ward 6 Representative for Design Review Board

June 10, 2026

The City of Clinton is seeking a Ward 6 resident to fill a vacancy on the Design Review Board, with a deadline to apply of June 19, 2026.

The Design Review Board plays a key role in shaping the visual character of Clinton by reviewing exterior design plans for new construction, renovations, signs, and other projects. Members ensure that proposed projects meet the city’s design standards while providing thoughtful feedback to support quality development that benefits the community.

City Manager Joey Meadors encouraged Ward 6 residents to consider stepping into the volunteer role.

“Serving on the Design Review Board is a meaningful way to have a direct impact on the future of our city,” Meadors said. “We need residents who care about Clinton’s unique character and want to help guide how our community grows and evolves.”

The board helps preserve the beauty, charm, and vibrancy of Clinton for future generations by maintaining consistent design standards across new and renovated properties throughout the city.

Ward 6 residents interested in applying may visit the city’s website at www.cityofclintonsc.com (http://www.cityofclintonsc.com/) to complete an application or pick one up in person at the Bailey Municipal Center. The deadline to apply is June 19, 2026.
