Registration now open for free July youth sports camps in Georgetown County

Georgetown County Parks & Recreation is excited to announce that registration is officially open for its upcoming series of youth sports camps this July. Offered completely free of charge, these camps are available for boys and girls ages 5–12 looking to develop their skills, stay active, and have fun this summer.
To help participants beat the summer heat, all camp sessions will be held in the evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. 
2026 Camp Schedule
- Basketball Camp: July 6-9
- Tackle Football Camp: July 13–16
- Flag Football Camp: July 20–23
This year, Parks & Recreation is partnering with athletic staff from the Georgetown County School District. Current and future local coaches will be on-site to provide quality, hands-on instruction, making this a fantastic opportunity for young athletes to learn teamwork and sharpen their skills.

Registration is free, but space is limited. Parents and guardians can secure a spot for their children online today by visiting the Georgetown County Online Registration page.
