New Toastmasters Club Brings Public Speaking Practice to the Golden Strip
June 10, 2026Residents of Simpsonville, Mauldin, Fountain Inn and Five Forks who want to sharpen their public speaking skills now have a local option. A new Toastmasters International club has launched in the Golden Strip and will meet Thursday, June 18, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Five Forks Library, 104 Sunnydale Dr., Simpsonville.
Toastmasters offers a fun and supportive environment where members practice and improve a wide range of communication skills, from work presentations and church lessons to persuasive speaking. The organization’s approach encourages members to find, develop and sharpen their voices through regular practice in front of a friendly audience.
The club is open to anyone who wants to become a better speaker, regardless of experience level. Whether preparing for a big presentation at work, teaching a Sunday school class or simply hoping to feel more confident in front of a group, attendees will find structured opportunities to grow at their own pace.
Toastmasters International is a nonprofit educational organization with clubs around the world dedicated to helping members improve their communication and leadership skills.
