Fresh Produce and Healthy Living: Fountain Inn Farmers Market Sets ‘Wellness Day’

June 10, 2026

Downtown Fountain Inn is pairing healthy eating with active living later this month for a special community-focused theme day.

Organized by Main Street Fountain Inn, the weekly Fountain Inn Farmers Market will host its annual Wellness Day on Saturday, June 20, 2026. The event will kick off at 8:00 a.m. at the open-air market pavilion located at 100 Depot Street, a historic hub in the heart of the city’s downtown district.

While the market regularly showcases more than 30 regional vendors offering seasonal produce, local honey, farm-fresh eggs, baked goods, and handmade artisan crafts, the June 20th edition shifts the spotlight toward holistic community health.

In addition to standard market shopping, Wellness Day will feature a variety of interactive booths, local healthcare professionals, and fitness experts from across the Upstate. Visitors can expect:

  • Free health screenings and blood pressure checks.

  • Informational booths focused on nutrition, mental health, and physical therapy.

  • Demonstrations from local yoga, Pilates, and martial arts studios.

  • Family-friendly activities designed to get kids moving early in the morning.

“Wellness Day bridges the gap between supporting local agriculture and prioritizing our personal health,” organizers shared. “It’s a great environment to grab your weekly groceries while picking up actionable tips to live a healthier lifestyle.”

The event is entirely free and open to the public, offering an ideal, walk-up Saturday morning activity for residents of Fountain Inn, Simpsonville, and surrounding Laurens and Greenville counties. Ample parking is available around the Depot Street area and along Main Street.
