Laurens County Clemson Extension Office Relocating to New Ag Center

June 14, 2026

The Laurens County Clemson Extension Office is moving to a new location after occupying its current building since 1937.

According to the office, the relocation began about a week ago with the transfer of file cabinets, bookcases, and other furnishings. Staff anticipate the complete move will take several more weeks.

IT equipment and phones will be relocated Monday and Tuesday, June 15 and 16. The office will be closed Monday and possibly part of Tuesday while the IT transition is completed. During that time, staff will remain reachable by cell phone but will not have access to email or office phone lines.

The new office will be located at 61 Ag Center Drive, Laurens, SC 29360. The site sits in the old fairgrounds behind Aldi and Ingles in Laurens, next to the new Laurens Ag Center.

The Extension Office plans to host an open house once the new space is settled. A date will be announced later.
