Patriotic Pier Days Registration Tops 17 Locations Ahead of June 20 Deadline

Registrations for the inaugural Patriotic Pier Days on Lake Greenwood have reached 17 locations, organizers announced this week, as the community prepares to mark America’s 250th anniversary and South Carolina’s Revolutionary War heritage.
The current count includes 15 residential locations, one commercial location and one public space. From the rivers to the dam, Lake Greenwood is already beginning to show its patriotic spirit, and organizers say the celebration is shaping up to be a memorable one.
Registered locations will be featured on the official Patriotic Pier Days Participation Map, which will help residents and visitors explore patriotic displays around the lake throughout the event. Docks, boats, homes, marinas, businesses and restaurants are all eligible to join.
Organizers thanked those who have already signed up and said the early enthusiasm is helping build what they hope becomes a lasting Lake Greenwood tradition.
Registration closes June 20. Patriotic Pier Days runs June 28 through July 7.
