World Cup Watch Party to Bring All-Day Soccer, Music, and Dancing to Fountain Inn

World Cup fever is officially taking over the Upstate this week as a popular local entertainment hub prepares to host a massive, day-long soccer celebration.

The Mill at Fountain Inn has announced its upcoming “No Stoppage Time World Cup Party,” scheduled for Friday, June 19. Running from noon until 11:00 p.m., the event promises an immersive atmosphere blending international sports broadcasts, live entertainment, dance lessons, and local culinary specials.

A Two-Part Entertainment Lineup

Organizers have structured the festival-style watch party into two distinct blocks, matching the energy of the day’s marquee soccer matchups on the venue’s giant outdoor LED screen:

• The USA Pre-Match Party (12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.): Regional favorite DJ Sha will kick off the festivities live in the beer garden. To get the crowd moving ahead of the highly anticipated USA vs. Australia match at 3:00 p.m., the venue will host free public line dancing classes at 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. The game itself will be broadcast with full arena audio.

• Latin Night (5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.): Following the afternoon match, the party transitions into a vibrant Latin Night. DJ Santi will take over the music decks alongside instructors from Salsa Greenville, who are offering free salsa lessons at 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The evening build-up leads directly into the prime-time broadcast of Brazil vs. Haiti at 8:30 p.m.

Property-Wide Food and Drink Specials

To accommodate the all-day crowd, unique food and drink promotions will be available across the entirety of the multi-use property. Patrons will be able to order directly from the diverse array of on-site food hall vendors as well as Fountain Inn Brewing.

Organizers stress that the event is designed to be much more than a standard sports broadcast, offering a family-friendly community festival. The watch party is free and open to the general public, though guests are encouraged to arrive early to secure seating in the beer garden ahead of the match kickoffs.
