Fountain Inn Parks and Recreation Opens Registration for Fall Youth Sports Leagues
June 15, 2026Youth athletes across the Golden Strip can officially secure their spots for the upcoming autumn sports season as the Fountain Inn Parks and Recreation Department opens its master registration window.
Beginning Monday, June 15, parents can register their children for the city’s highly popular fall volleyball, baseball, and softball leagues. The open enrollment period will run for just over a month, officially closing on Friday, July 17.
Girls Fall Volleyball League
The city’s fall volleyball program is specifically tailored for young female athletes looking to develop fundamental court skills, build physical conditioning, and understand defensive and offensive team concepts. The league format is divided into structured age divisions:
-
Eligible Divisions: Open to girls entering grades 3 through 8.
-
Program Focus: Regular seasonal play will place a heavy emphasis on serving, passing, setting, spiking, and building on-court sportsmanship.
Fall Baseball and Softball
Concurrently, registration is underway for the department’s traditional fall diamond sports. The autumn baseball and softball leagues operate with a developmental mindset, serving as a competitive transition period to help players refine their hitting, fielding, and pitching techniques ahead of the spring cycles.
Registration Details
Due to strict roster limits and field capacities across municipal sports complexes, parks management encourages families to register early, as divisions will lock once player caps are achieved.
Parents and guardians can complete the registration process, review division eligibility rules, and submit information entirely online by visiting the city’s official municipal portal at www.fountaininn.org.
