Laurens County Council Sets Quarterly Public Input Meeting for June 22

June 16, 2026

Laurens County Council will hold its next quarterly public input meeting on Monday, June 22, 2026, at 6 p.m., giving residents an opportunity to address council members on any matters pertaining to the county.

The meeting will take place at the historic Laurens County Courthouse, located at 200 W. Public Square, Laurens, SC 29360.

Residents who wish to speak will sign in upon arrival. As with the regular public comment process, each speaker is allotted three minutes to share remarks with council members.

“These quarterly meetings are about giving residents a direct line to their council,” said Council Chair Jeff Carroll. “We want to hear from the people we serve about the issues that matter to them, and these sessions are one of the best ways for us to stay connected to the community.”

The county council meets quarterly to hear directly from citizens on issues affecting Laurens County. The remaining 2026 input meetings are scheduled for Monday, Sept. 28, and Monday, Dec. 28, each beginning at 6 p.m.

Residents who wish to share comments or concerns with council members are encouraged to attend.
