Don’t miss out: Summer Teen Nights are still going strong at the Georgetown Family YMCA!
June 18, 2026
Summer is in full swing, but if your teenagers are already complaining that they have “nothing to do,” it is definitely not too late to turn things around. The Tidelands Health Georgetown Family YMCA is hosting its popular Teen Night series throughout the summer, and there are still plenty of opportunities for local youth to get in on the action.
The most recent Teen Night was a massive success, bringing local teens together for an evening packed with free pizza, swimming, games, and great conversations. But these events offer more than just a safe, fun place to hang out on a Saturday night—they are also designed to help young people build essential life skills. Attendees have been practicing real-world skills like making strong first impressions, mastering a confident handshake, maintaining eye contact, and practicing active listening.
What You Need to Know
If you want to keep your teens engaged, active, and learning this summer, mark your calendars for the upcoming dates:
When: Saturdays from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Remaining Dates: June 27th, July 11th, and July 25th
There is no cost to attend Teen Night and advance registration is not required. Teens can simply show up and join in on the fun. The YMCA does ask that attendees complete a participant waiver signed by their parent/guardian upon arrival if one is not already on file.
The YMCA is fully committed to helping the next generation grow through healthy recreation and character-building activities. Don’t let your teens miss out on the remaining sessions of sports, swimming, and community building.
