Two Prisma Health Hospitals named to Becker’s Hospital Review’s 2026 “100 Great Community Hospitals” list
June 18, 2026Prisma Health announced that Prisma Health Oconee Memorial Hospital and Prisma Health Baptist Parkridge Hospital have been named to Becker’s Hospital Review’s 2026 list of “100 Great Community Hospitals.” This annual list recognizes hospitals that deliver exceptional clinical care, achieve strong patient outcomes, and serve as vital healthcare resources within their communities.
“This recognition reflects Prisma Health’s commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care at the right place and the right time for our communities,” said Clarence Sevillian, executive vice president and chief operating officer of the health system. “A nod to our outstanding community hospitals is particularly meaningful because it affirms that our patients are able to access some of the best care in the country, close to home, with the advanced resources of our larger system.”
Prisma Health Oconee Memorial Hospital is a 169-bed community hospital in Seneca, SC, and was recognized for its longstanding record of quality, safety, and innovation. Oconee Memorial has earned 17 consecutive “A” Hospital Safety Grades from The Leapfrog Group, the most in South Carolina, and has been named a Leapfrog Top Rural Hospital four consecutive times. Oconee Memorial achieved Magnet designation in 2024, ranks among the top 5% of hospitals nationally for quality according to Healthgrades and recently became the first hospital in South Carolina to perform surgery using the Da Vinci 5 robotic system.
