Clinton’s America 250 Celebration Expands to Three Day Carnival
June 28, 2026The City of Clinton’s celebration of America’s 250th birthday has grown into a three day event, with a carnival now joining the festivities at 122 E. Main Street over the July 4 holiday weekend.
The carnival will feature amusement rides and games for all ages on Thursday, July 2, from 6 to 11 p.m., Friday, July 3, from 4 to 11 p.m., and Saturday, July 4, from 4 to 11 p.m. Tickets will be sold at the event for $1 each, with rides and games costing four to five tickets apiece.
Thursday’s opening night will also include the city’s previously announced America’s 250th Birthday Celebration, featuring live music by the Exit 83 Band, food trucks, and free face painting from 6 to 9 p.m. The evening offers activities and fun for all ages as the community gathers to mark the nation’s milestone birthday.
City officials are inviting residents to bring family, friends, lawn chairs, and their patriotic spirit for the weekend of rides, games, food, and live entertainment.
The celebration is one of several events taking place across the region in 2026 as part of the America 250 anniversary commemorating the founding of the United States.
