Tapestry Inc. to Mark 40 Years With Anniversary Celebration in Clinton

Tapestry Inc., a women’s clothing boutique in Clinton, is preparing to celebrate four decades in business with what the store is calling its biggest anniversary party yet.

The “40 and Fabulous” celebration will take place Aug. 7 from 4 to 8 p.m. The store announced the milestone in a June 25 social media post, inviting customers to save the date for an event that will combine storewide sales with a day of customer appreciation. Plans include champagne, a DJ, giveaways, door prizes and trunk shows, with a theme built around the number 40. The store said additional details will be shared in the weeks ahead.

Owner Megan Knight, who purchased the business several years ago from original owner Leslie Ann Cooper Jackson, said the celebration is a way to thank the community that has kept the store going.

“Reaching 40 years is something we never could have done without the customers who have walked through our doors year after year,” Knight said. “This day is just as much about celebrating them as it is about the milestone. We can’t wait to make it special.”

Customers are encouraged to add the celebration to their calendars now, with the store promising more information about the date and festivities soon.
