July 1, 2026

As the holiday weekend approaches, Pickle Yard is locking in a packed schedule of activities to kick off Friday, July 3rd. The local sports and entertainment hub has rolled out a diverse itinerary catering to early risers, senior players, and evening socializers alike.

Morning and Afternoon Court Action

The day begins early for dedicated players looking to beat the heat or jumpstart their holiday weekend fitness. Pickle Yard is opening its courts for Early Bird Open Play from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.

Moving into the afternoon, the venue transitions to programming specifically designed for the community’s older enthusiasts. A 50+ Open Play session will take over the courts from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., providing a structured environment for senior players to match up and connect. Immediately following the open play, Coach Terry will lead the Senior Moments Clinic from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., focusing on skill-building, strategy, and court movement.

Evening Social and Line Dancing

As the sun sets, the focus shifts from competitive sports to community entertainment. The venue’s evening programming features Line Dancing with Tianna, running from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The social dance session is structured for all skill levels, allowing participants to learn choreographed routines in a relaxed, festive setting. With a full day of active court time leading right into evening entertainment, the July 3rd lineup highlights the venue’s ongoing efforts to serve as a comprehensive, multi-generational community gathering space for the holiday weekend.
