Lanneau Wm. “Lanny” Lambert, Jr. reappointed to South Carolina Judicial Merit Selection Commission
July 8, 2026Turner Padget announced that Lanneau Wm. “Lanny” Lambert, Jr. has been reappointed by Governor Henry McMaster to serve on the South Carolina Judicial Merit Selection Commission. This statewide reappointment is designated for a member in good standing of the South Carolina Bar with at least ten years of legal experience.
Lanny’s reappointment reflects his strong reputation within the legal community and his ongoing commitment to the integrity of South Carolina’s judicial selection process.
Lanny focuses his practice on business transactions, including contracts, leases, and loans, with a particular emphasis on commercial real estate finance and development. Drawing on his experience as former in-house counsel for a real estate development and mortgage banking company, he represents both lenders and borrowers in complex transactions involving financing, land development, and zoning.
