Campus Upgrades: Fountain Inn Elementary Abuzz with Summer Renovations and Expansion Construction

While local students enjoy their summer break, the campus at Fountain Inn Elementary School is seeing a massive wave of activity as crews work to prepare the facilities for the upcoming school year.

School officials shared updates highlighting a comprehensive series of indoor renovations alongside major outdoor campus expansions. Inside the school hallways, maintenance and facility crews are executing a deep cleaning of the building while applying fresh coats of paint to interior walls. In addition, teams are actively upgrading the facility’s infrastructure with the installation of new lighting throughout the entire building.

The most noticeable changes, however, are taking place just outside the school walls. Heavy machinery and construction crews have broken ground on an expansive elementary and middle school expansion project. Large swathes of land behind the existing facility have been cleared as contractors push forward on the structural growth required to support the area’s increasing student population.

Fountain Inn Elementary administration expressed deep gratitude to the custodial staff, contractors, and behind-the-scenes crew members steering the summer projects.

According to school officials, the coordinated indoor and outdoor upgrades are central to creating a beautiful, modernized, and safe environment for their “Fireflies” to learn and grow when school resumes in August.
