JDPR promotes Raine Riley to VP Strategy & Client Service

July 9, 2026

Riley will oversee strategic planning and client service at the Greenville, SC-based marketing communications agency.

Leading strategic marketing-communications agency JDPR has promoted Raine Riley to VP strategy and client service, expanding her leadership role within the agency as it continues to evolve its services. In her role, Riley will oversee the client service team, strategic planning, client service delivery and integrated campaign development across the agency’s roster of accounts.

Since joining JDPR, Riley has led account teams while working with several of the agency’s largest clients, and in 2022 was part of the team that launched the Kress Commercial brand in North America. Throughout her tenure, she has supported the strategic efforts of brands spanning the categories of business and technology, sports and lifestyle, and hardware, equipment and professional trades. In addition to her client service work, Riley managed the agency’s Executive Management Assistance Program for four years, helping shape the early careers of dozens of aspiring mar-comm professionals, as well as JDPR’s community service efforts. In 2025, she was named one of South Carolina’s Best & Brightest 35 and Under.

Riley said, “I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue growing with JDPR and helping shape the agency’s future. We’ve built something truly special: a team that works well together and cares deeply about our clients and our work. I’m excited to continue elevating the brands we represent and supporting our team while expanding the agency’s strategic and creative capabilities.”

She has played a vital role in expanding JDPR’s strategic mar-comm capabilities and strengthening client relationships. Delivering elite client service is a key differentiator for the agency which specializes in working with companies that have regional and national-level reach, such as Verizon, Positec Group, Bridgestone Golf and Cobra Puma Golf.

“Raine has been an important part of JDPR for a long time. Her strong attention to detail, client service skills and most importantly the admiration that she has earned from her colleagues make her the ideal choice to lead our client service team,” said Matt Lochel, JDPR’s president & CEO. “She has distinguished herself among her clients and colleagues, which is the true mark of a leader. This promotion is well-deserved and recognizes Raine’s critical role in the ongoing growth of our agency.”

Riley’s promotion comes at a pivotal time for the agency. Earlier this year, JDPR announced a leadership transition and a brand refresh to better reflect its evolution from a boutique PR agency to a full-service mar-comm firm. In addition to its 35-year legacy of offering strategic public relations and brand building services, the agency has grown to offer full-funnel capabilities that include paid digital and traditional media, SEM/paid search, online reputation management, SEO, and, most recently, the introduction of AiO/GEO, or the ability to influence large language models (LLMs), such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude, ensuring its clients are accurately represented on platforms that are increasingly used as search engines.

Riley has a B.S. in travel and tourism, business administration and English, and an M.A. in communication, technology and society from Clemson University. She joined JDPR as an assistant account executive in 2021, and through previous promotions, reached the role of senior account executive by January 2024. Prior to joining JDPR, she was the excursion coordinator at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute and held numerous roles with the Social Media Listening Center, both affiliated with Clemson University.
