City of Clinton Awards 2026 Community Assistance Grants to Five Local Organizations
July 12, 2026The City of Clinton has announced the recipients of its 2026 Community Assistance Grant, awarding $2,000 each to five local organizations working to strengthen the community and serve its residents.
This year’s recipients are Clinton Canopy, the Laurens County Cancer Association, Laurens County Safe Home, Open Door Ministries and The Zone Services. The awards total $10,000 in direct support for programs and services across the area.
City officials said the grant program is designed to invest in organizations that provide essential services, improve the lives of those they serve and make a lasting difference throughout the community. In announcing the awards, the city expressed its pride in supporting local groups that reflect compassion, service and a commitment to a stronger Clinton.
Each of the five recipients contributes to the community in its own way, from supporting families and individuals in need to expanding opportunities and connections for residents. The city thanked the organizations for their dedication and congratulated them on the recognition.
