Friends of the Waccamaw Library announces fall FOWL luncheon, “A Taste for Books”
July 13, 2026Get ready for an afternoon of fun, friendship, and philanthropy! The Friends of the Waccamaw Library (FOWL) is excited to announce the return of its annual Fall FOWL Luncheon, themed “A Taste for Books.”
This highly anticipated fundraiser benefits the Waccamaw Neck Branch Library and will take place on Tuesday, October 20, beginning at 11:00 am at Pawleys Plantation.
Guests can look forward to savoring great stories while supporting a vital community resource. The event will feature a lively raffle and auction. FOWL is currently seeking high-quality donations to help make the fundraiser a success.

What to Donate: Trendy accessories for the home and the stylish woman, including home decor, artwork, jewelry, purses, clothing, and special items for the holidays.

How to Drop Off: Donations can be brought directly to the Friends Center.

Schedule a Pick-up: If you have items to donate but cannot drop them off, please call Diane Stern at 908-310-2953 to arrange a convenient pick-up time.

Friends Center Hours: Monday–Friday: 10:00 am – 4:00 pm | Saturday: 11:00 am – 2:00 pm

Library Hours: Monday–Friday: 9:00 am – 6:30 pm | Saturday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
