Registration open for Georgetown County youth tackle football

Georgetown County Parks and Recreation has opened registration for its 2026 youth tackle football season. The program is open to boys and girls ages 9 through 12.
The registration fee is $50 per player, and the deadline to sign up is Aug. 29. Because roster spots are limited, county recreation officials encourage families to register early to secure a place on a team.
Games for the upcoming season will be played on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Practice schedules, specific game times, and additional season details will be finalized and distributed to families once the registration period closes.
