Senator Mike Reichenbach Officially Joins Alan Wilson on Republican Ticket for Lieutenant Governor
July 19, 2026Republican gubernatorial nominee Alan Wilson today officially welcomed State Senator Mike Reichenbach to the Republican ticket for Lieutenant Governor during the official signing of the Lieutenant Governor Nomination Form at South Carolina Republican Party headquarters.
South Carolina Republican Party Chairman Drew McKissick presided over the signing of the Lieutenant Governor Nomination Form, formally placing the Wilson-Reichenbach ticket on the November general election ballot.
As Lieutenant Governor, Reichenbach will lead the Families First Audit Initiative, a key part of the Wilson administration’s plan to make state government more accountable by identifying waste, improving efficiency, increasing transparency, and ensuring taxpayer dollars are spent wisely.
“Mike Reichenbach is a proven conservative, a successful businessman, and a servant leader who understands the value of hard work and accountability,” Attorney General Alan Wilson said. “His remarkable life story, his record in the State Senate, and his commitment to making government work for taxpayers make him the perfect partner as we fight to make South Carolina more affordable for families, more profitable for businesses, and more accountable to the people.”
“I am honored to stand alongside Alan Wilson as we continue this campaign,” Senator Mike Reichenbach said. “Together, we will fight for conservative principles, responsible government, and a stronger future for every South Carolina family. I am ready to get to work.”
