Call for Artists: City of Simpsonville Invites Local Submissions for 125th Anniversary Art & History Exhibit
July 20, 2026In celebration of its landmark 125th anniversary, the City of Simpsonville, in partnership with the Simpsonville ARTS Foundation, is inviting local artists of all ages and experience levels to submit original artwork for an upcoming community art and history exhibition.
The week-long exhibit will serve as a core feature of the city’s broader Founder’s Day milestone celebration, SPARK FEST.
Designed to highlight the culture, heritage, and evolving story of Simpsonville, the showcase honors the city’s roots and its founder, Peter Simpson—a craftsman, innovator, and entrepreneur. Organizers are encouraging community members to express how citizens have used creativity and voice across generations to inspire change through local landmarks, sculptures, churches, schools, businesses, and personal stories.
