A New Chapter on Main Street: Steam Coffee & Cream Rebrands as Benny’s Sip & Scoop

A familiar staple in downtown Fountain Inn is undergoing a total transformation. Following weeks of behind-the-scenes renovations, the team behind Steam Coffee & Cream has announced the shop is officially reopening as Benny’s Sip & Scoop.

The downtown gathering spot at 113 South Main Street will unveil its refreshed look and expanded menu during a soft opening this Thursday.

Honoring the Past, Upgrading for the Future

The transition marks a deeply personal milestone for the local business owners, who shared that the new name is inspired by their son, Bennett.

While thanking the community for years of loyalty under the original name, the owners emphasized that the concept refresh aims to build upon Steam’s long-standing role as a neighborhood fixture rather than replace it.

“We know so many memories were made here, and we truly respect the place it has held in our community. Our goal is to build on it and create a coffee and ice cream shop that Fountain Inn can enjoy for years to come.”
