Five Forks Methodist Church Prepares for Five-Day “Rainforest Falls” Vacation Bible School

Local families will soon have a tropical-themed evening adventure close to home. Five Forks Methodist Church has opened registration for its summer Vacation Bible School (VBS), running Sunday, July 26 through Thursday, July 30, 2026.

The annual program will transform the church’s Holland Road campus into “Rainforest Falls,” an immersive environment featuring waterfall decor, canopy-style learning stations, and hands-on activities centered on exploring the nature of God.

Evening Schedule and Snack Supper

Designed to accommodate working parents and busy family summer schedules, the program runs each evening from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM.

To make the transition from the workday easier for families, church organizers are offering a snack supper starting at 5:00 PM prior to the start of the evening activities.

Lessons, Games, and Hands-On Stations

Throughout the five-day experience, children will rotate through themed activity stations designed to engage all five senses:

• Sing & Play Tune Lagoon: High-energy music, daily Bible memory buddies, and group worship.

• Imagination Station: Experiential science gizmos and creative crafts that reinforce daily themes.

• Wild Games: Outdoor group challenges and physical activities held on the church grounds.

• Sticky Scripture: Interactive scripture memory stations connecting biblical lessons to daily life.
