Singer-songwriter and American Idol standout Leah Marlene is bringing an intimate, stripped-down musical experience to the Upstate. Marlene will perform in Simpsonville on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 6:00 PM as part of her national “Small Spaces Tour”.
Unlike conventional concert tours that rely on large auditoriums or traditional music venues, the “Small Spaces Tour” is designed around non-traditional, listening-room atmospheres—ranging from yoga studios and coffee shops to boutique local spaces. The goal of the series is to foster direct storytelling, personal connection, and an up-close musical evening between the artist and attendees.

Marlene first captured national attention in 2022 during Season 20 of American Idol, where her soulful vocal control, distinctive arrangement style, and genre-blending original songs earned high praise from judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry, and Luke Bryan. She ultimately finished as the season’s second runner-up after performing fan-favorite renditions and her original breakout single, “Flowers.”
