Downtown Wine Tasting Tour “Sippin’ in Simpsonville” Returns This September

Downtown Simpsonville will once again transform into a vibrant hub for wine enthusiasts as the Simpsonville Area Chamber of Commerce hosts its annual fall wine tasting tour, “Sippin’ in Simpsonville,” on Friday, September 11, 2026.

Presented by Weichert, REALTORS – Shaun & Shari Group, the popular evening event invites residents and visitors to stroll through downtown Simpsonville while sampling a curated selection of local and regional wines.

Event Highlights & Details

The walkable tasting tour highlights independent downtown shops and local businesses, giving attendees a chance to explore community storefronts while enjoying drinks, art, and entertainment.

Key event features include:

• Tasting Stops: More than 25 participating downtown businesses serving 1-ounce samples of local, regional, and unique wines.

• Local Entertainment & Retail: Live music performances, local art displays, and pop-up retail vendors stationed along the route.

• Community Gathering: Food vendors and downtown restaurants will be open throughout the evening for both drinkers and non-drinking guests.

Schedule & Ticket Information

Check-in will take place along West Curtis Street in downtown Simpsonville. While non-drinking guests and designated drivers do not require a ticket to enjoy the live music and atmosphere, tasting tickets are required for wine sampling:

• VIP Access (5:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.): $65 in advance ($85 day-of). Includes early check-in, all wine tastings, a commemorative glass, a bottle of wine to take home, and a special VIP gift.

• Regular Admission (6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.): $40 in advance ($60 day-of). Includes access to all tasting stops and a commemorative tasting glass.
