Town of Andrews to host annual Back to School Supply Giveaway Aug. 1

ANDREWS, S.C. — The Town of Andrews will host its annual Back to School Supply Giveaway on Saturday, Aug. 1, offering free school supplies to local students ahead of the upcoming academic year.
The community event will run from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Game and Grill Restaurant, located at 501 W. Main St. in Andrews.
In addition to the supply distribution, the event will feature family-friendly activities, including:

Free ice cream for children: Kids receive one free scoop of ice cream with the purchase of any kid’s meal.

Parent entertainment: Bingo games will be hosted throughout the afternoon specifically for parents.
Local families and community members are encouraged to attend and support local students as they prepare for the new school year.
