ErectaStep adds ProStep ultra-compact aluminum rolling ladders to its industrial access portfolio

ANDREWS, SC – ErectaStep, a manufacturer of industrial access and safety solutions with operations in Andrews, has introduced its new ProStep line of ultra-compact aluminum rolling ladders designed for warehouses and industrial facilities with tight aisles and confined workspaces.

ErectaStep is part of SixAxis, which designs and manufactures industrial access, work platform and fall protection systems for manufacturing, distribution and commercial facilities worldwide. The company’s Andrews operation is located in Georgetown County.

The new rolling ladders feature a compact footprint and tight turning radius, allowing workers to safely access equipment and storage areas that are difficult to reach with conventional rolling ladders. The product line includes models with platform heights ranging from 40 to 120 inches and optional cantilever extensions for reaching over conveyors and other obstacles.

ProStep’s lift-and-lock stability system raises the wheels off the ground and secures the ladder on a rubber-footed base before use, helping improve worker safety. Each ladder is rated for a 1,000-pound working load and is designed to meet applicable OSHA and ANSI safety standards.
