C4 Ministries Shares Wish List for Families in Laurens County

C4 Ministries of Laurens County is inviting the community to support local families through a donation wish list of household and hygiene essentials.
The nonprofit shared the list on its Facebook page, describing the effort as one of the simplest ways residents can help the families it serves. Donated items are used to provide practical assistance and encouragement to families with children who are facing difficult seasons.
“Most of what we hand out is not complicated. It is soap, diapers, laundry pods, the everyday things families run out of first when money gets tight,” said Amanda Anderson, director of C4 Ministries of Laurens County. “When someone drops off a bag of those items, it goes straight into the hands of a family in this county who needed it that week.”
Items on the C4 Ministries wish list include:
Copy paper, white and blue
Disinfectant wipes
Lotion
Paper towels
Tissues
Dental floss
Hand sanitizer
Diapers and pull-ups
Laundry pods
Dishwasher pods
Feminine hygiene products
Deodorant
Hand soap
Dish soap
Kitchen trash bags
Shampoo and conditioner
Body wash
Donations can be dropped off at the C4 Ministries office at 205 Church St. in Laurens. The office is open Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Organizers encourage shoppers to add an extra item to the cart during a routine grocery or drugstore run. The ministry described the request as an ongoing invitation rather than a one-time drive, noting that steady contributions allow the organization to keep supplies on hand as needs come up.
“We are not asking anyone to do anything dramatic,” Anderson said. “Pick up one extra item the next time you are already out shopping. Multiply that across a community and it becomes a lasting impact, one family at a time.”
