Volunteers needed for the 2026 Georgetown Harbor Sweep

Keep Georgetown Beautiful and the Winyah Rivers Alliance, in partnership with the S.C. Sea Grant Consortium and the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources, invite community members to join the annual Georgetown Harbor Sweep on Saturday, September 12, 2026.
As part of South Carolina’s largest volunteer litter cleanup—the statewide Beach Sweep/River Sweep—this event brings together individuals, families, and local groups to clear debris and protect local marine habitats. Supplies and guidance will be provided on-site.
